Stock Manager lets you track and update your inventory through different types of stock activities. Each activity type is designed for a specific purpose, whether you’re making bulk updates, receiving new shipments, or moving stock between locations.
The following stock activities are available in Stock Manager by default:
Bulk Stock Update – Update stock quantities for multiple products at once without editing each one individually. This is ideal for large-scale inventory adjustments, such as annual counts or corrections.
Receive Stock – Add new stock to an Outlet’s inventory when you receive a shipment from a supplier. This activity makes it easy to increase quantities for multiple products in one session.
If your Company manages inventory for products across multiple Outlets, install the Stock Transfers extension to add the following activity types to Stock Manager:
Send Transfer – Move stock from one Outlet to another. The sending Outlet specifies the products and quantities to transfer, and can include a note for the receiving Outlet.
Receive Transfer – Acknowledge and complete a stock transfer sent from another Outlet. The receiving Outlet reviews the items, checks quantities, and marks the transfer as complete to update inventory.
