Compatible iPhone and Android devices with built-in NFC can act as payment terminals themselves, enabling Tap to Pay without any external hardware.
When you log into the Run Native app to run your flows, Tap to Pay will be automatically activated if your device supports built-in NFC and your Final Pay account is set up. You can view and manage this feature under Settings > Payment Terminals in the Station Home.
Final Pay also supports Bluetooth-enabled payment terminals for in-person card payments. These devices connect wirelessly to your POS device and are ideal for mobile or countertop setups.
The following Bluetooth terminals are currently compatible with Final Pay:
Stripe Reader M2 – available in the United States only
BBPOS WisePad 3 – supported in all other countries where Final Pay is available
To connect a Bluetooth terminal, open the Run Native app, go to Settings > Payment Terminals in Station Home, and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your device.
Final Pay also supports cloud-connected payment terminals, which communicate with your POS through the internet rather than Bluetooth. These devices are well-suited for countertop setups where a stable Wi-Fi connection is available.
The following cloud terminals are compatible with Final Pay:
BBPOS WisePOS E
Stripe Reader S700
To connect a cloud terminal, go to the Pay tool and select Terminals from the left sidebar menu. From there, you can register and manage cloud terminals.
To initiate the setup process, follow these steps directly on the terminal:
Navigate to the Settings page on the terminal.
Ensure the device is connected to Wi-Fi.
Enter the admin PIN: 07139
Generate a pairing code for device registration.
Once you have the pairing code, return to the Terminals page in Pay and select Add Cloud Terminal to complete the setup.
