About the SKU/Barcode field

The SKU/barcode field stores the value Final POS uses when scanning products.

What it’s used for

• Linking physical barcodes to products

• Enabling Scan to Cart

• Allowing barcode-based search

• Powering custom lookup flows

Any numeric or alphanumeric code works as long as it matches what the scanner inputs.

Adding or editing a barcode

1. Go to Products

2. Open the product or variant

3. Enter the barcode in SKU / barcode

4. Save

Displaying barcodes in your flow

Optional only. Scanning works even if the barcode isn’t shown visually.
