The product discount dialog box appears when the Add product discount action is triggered, and the action was configured in Builder to open a discount input box.
This dialog box allows the user to manually apply a discount to the currently active product. It includes:
Amount / Percentage toggle
Select whether to discount the product by a fixed dollar amount or by a percentage of its original price
Keypad
Used to enter the discount value
Description
An optional label describing the reason for the discount (e.g. “Damaged packaging” or “Promo code”)
Add discount to product
A confirmation button that applies the discount and closes the dialog box
Once submitted, the discount is applied to the active product and reflected in its price when added to the cart.
