The Custom Sale dialog box appears when the Add Custom Sale action is triggered and configured to open the dialog box. It is used to manually enter a sale amount when an item isn’t listed in the product catalog, allowing the cashier to record flexible sales such as donations, service charges, or custom items.
The dialog box displays the sale label, price input with a numeric keypad, and quantity adjusters. It also includes an option to apply taxes to the line item using the outlet’s default tax rate. Once the amount and quantity are set, the user can tap Add to cart to include the custom sale in the checkout.
