When you connect your WooCommerce store to Final, only the WooCommerce tax classes that are actively assigned to products are synced to Manage.
If you later add or update a product in Woo to use a new tax class, that class will also sync over.
Woo products always retain their assigned tax class when they sync to Final.
Important: A product’s tax class will not apply correctly until you’ve set up the rates for that class in Manage.
Each synced Woo tax class appears in Manage as a regular Final tax class. You’ll need to add your own tax rates to the class’s rate table, including:
Rate amount
Priority
Address rules (country, state, postal code)
To make this easier, Manage lets you assign rates to specific Outlets. The Outlet address is then automatically applied to the rate table.
When a product with a WooCommerce tax class is sold in Final:
The product’s assigned tax class is checked.
The Outlet address of the Station processing the sale is matched against the tax rate table for that class.
The relevant tax rates are applied.
This ensures WooCommerce products calculate tax consistently in Final, but with rate logic you control in Manage.
