Similar to selecting a screen size when designing flows, you must also choose an appropriate print size when designing print blocks. You can choose from two format categories based on the type of output you need:
These are intended for general printing on standard paper sizes or thermal printers. Use these when you need to print detailed information such as full receipts.
58mm thermal print – For compact thermal receipts.
80mm thermal print – Standard size for most receipt printers.
Letterhead – Suited for professional printouts using standard US letter size.
A4 – Common paper size internationally, ideal for full-page printouts.
These formats are optimized for label printing. Use them when printing product tags, shipping labels, or barcodes.
1x2 inch – Small label, great for compact product info.
1x3 inch – Medium label, currently selected. Suitable for slightly more content or larger barcodes.
2x4 inch – Larger label, often used for mailing/shipping.
2x6 inch – Tall label, good for vertical product tags or special formats.
