After installing the extension, the Final Pay tab will be added to the top menu bar in Hub.
Navigate to the Final Pay tab. Here, you will need to add some additional details to register and connect your bank account.
Final Pay works with a range of payment terminals, and can even use the built-in NFC on compatible devices to take contactless payments.
Compatible with NFC-enabled Android devices and iPhone
Check country availability here (Tap to Pay | Stripe Documentation)
It is worth noting that some jurisdictions have an authorization limit on contactless payments. If this is the case in your region, any checkout that exceeds the maximum allowed would need to be split into two or more partial payments. For this reason, we recommend having at least one POS station with an EMV chip reader when there is a tap limit in place.
External payment terminals have an EMV chip reader built-in, which can be used for any payment amount. You can order your card reader directly from the Hub’s Final Pay section under Terminals.
The following external card readers are compatible with Final Pay:
Bluetooth type
BBPOS WisePad 3
Stripe Reader M2 (US only)
Cloud type
Stripe Reader S700
BBPOS WisePOS E
Payment Terminal | Connection Type |
BBPOS WisePad 3 | Bluetooth |
Stripe Reader M2 (US only) | Bluetooth |
Stripe Reader S700 | Cloud |
BBPOS WisePOS E | Cloud |
Please note that Bluetooth terminals work with Android and iOS only. Cloud terminals are compatible with our native app on Android, iOS, and Windows.
Please refer to the applicable instructions below based on your terminal type.
Tap to Pay is set up automatically inside the native app on compatible NFC-equipped devices.
If your device is supported in your country, Tap to Pay should appear as a connected reader when you navigate to Settings → Payment Terminals. No additional action is required!
Bluetooth terminals are connected directly to each POS Station from the native app.
From Station Home, navigate to Settings → Payment Terminals and select Discover.
Unlike Tap to Pay and Bluetooth terminals, cloud terminals must be set up in Hub.
Under the Final Pay tab, navigate to Terminals and select a POS Station to assign each.
When you open that Station in the native app, your cloud terminal will be visible under Settings → Payment Terminals and available to use.
