To accept in-person card payments using Final Pay, your checkout flow must include a supported payment element. These elements tell the Station App when to trigger a connected payment terminal.
To enable payments in your flow, you need to include one of the following elements in Build:
Payment Grid – A layout that displays all available payment types (e.g. Card, Cash)
Final Pay - Tap to Pay – Triggers the built-in NFC reader on your Station device (if supported)
Final Pay - Terminal – Triggers a connected external terminal (Bluetooth or Cloud)
If your flow doesn’t include one of these, Final Pay can’t be used to collect payment.
If you're using the Payment Grid, your Company must also enable Final Pay as a supported payment type under: Manage → Flows → Flow Settings → Payment Types.
Before your flow can accept card payments, your Company needs to complete Final Pay onboarding in the Pay tool. This includes submitting business information and connecting a payout account.
If Final Pay isn’t set up, the payment elements in your flow won’t function.
Once your flow includes a supported payment element and Final Pay is set up, you can run the flow on any Station with a connected terminal.
When a Final Pay button is pressed:
The terminal will light up with the total amount
Your customer can complete the payment using a card or mobile wallet
