The Metorik extension adds support for assigning a custom alias to each of your Outlets. These aliases are included in product and order metadata, making it easier to organize and report on multi-location data in Metorik.
Final uses a unique Outlet ID for each location—something like 67486f0696787c1ac0d9fd16. These IDs are reliable for syncing, but they aren’t easy to read in reports. By assigning a human-readable alias (e.g., store_downtown, wholesale_warehouse), you can simplify reporting in Metorik using custom fields.
Once the Metorik extension is installed:
Go to Settings → Extensions → Metorik in Manage.
Locate the list of active Outlets.
Enter a custom alias for each Outlet.
Click Save to finalize.
Once set, the alias is permanent and cannot be changed later. Make sure to choose something meaningful and consistent with how you plan to structure your reports.
These aliases appear in product and order metadata using the outletalias key. You can use them in Metorik to:
Segment orders by Outlet alias
Display product sales per location
Filter customers by where they shop
