When Final is connected to a WooCommerce store, it automatically syncs rich metadata for products and orders — including Outlet-specific inventory, employee names, and the Station where the sale occurred. This data is added to Woo as metadata and is always available with or without Metorik.
The Metorik extension builds on this by making the data easier to work with. It introduces Outlet aliases — custom identifiers you define for each Outlet — so that reporting inside Metorik is cleaner and more human-readable. Instead of referencing long Outlet IDs like 67486f0696787c1ac0d9fd16, you can assign meaningful labels like downtown_store or outlet_b2 and use those in your reports and segments.
