When publishing a new version of a flow, you need to select how the update will be delivered to end users in the Station app. There are two main options:
Users will need to manually update the flow to the newly published version. By default, no notification is sent when a new version becomes available. Users can check for updates by navigating to: Station Settings > Build Version in the Station app. To prompt users with an update notification, you can enable the Notify users option during publishing.
To apply the update automatically without user action, a scheduled update can be configured. Two scheduling methods are available:
Immediate Update:
Deploys the new version to all devices immediately, even if users are in an active session.
Scheduled Time:
Sets a specific time, based on users' local time, for the update to go live.
Kiosk Stations: The flow will update automatically after 2 minutes of inactivity.
Other Station Types: A notification will appear after 2 minutes of inactivity, or the flow will update automatically once the user returns to the Station Home screen.
